The Galway School of ITF Taekwon-Do was founded on 9th October 1993 by Grand Master Robert Howard 9th Degree and Master Mark O'Donnell 8th Degree. The primary goal of the Galway School of ITF Taekwon-Do is to produce technically and mentally excellent students of the art as taught by the Founder, General Choi Hong Hi. Classes are available for all ages, and levels from Beginners to Black Belts.

Since its establishment, the School has been a member of the Republic of Ireland Taekwon-Do Association (RITA), and affiliated to the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).

All classes are taught by qualified Black Belt instructors (including First aid, Garda Vetting, Child Protection) to ensure a consistently high standard of tuition.
